I reaaaaaallly freaking hate my scanner.... It's constantly making things either too light or too dark... This journal may be shorter than my other ones, but, I just needed to get this off my chest. As for things being too light, you'll see in a few days.

Quick little update after Yet Another Hiatus: I will be joining art fight this year! I am still new to the event and a currently still setting up my profile, but I've elected to join to try and motivate myself to start posting online again. Going to start uploading a lot on both that blog and the soon-to-be-made art blog because of all of this AI generated tomfuckery I know there's been changes within whatever 24-ish hours for everyone to opt out of the prompts but I genuinely don't believe it and I don't want to be affiliated with it. Because of that, this account's days are starting to look very numbered. I've been dealing with the bullshit from this site for a while and it's getting less and less likely I'll stay, after all this time of wanting to come back anyways. September 2021 Update
Well. So much for monthly. In all seriousness, there's a few reasons I've yet again vanished into the ether. For one thing... I've lost my apple pen. I can't really do digital art without it, and sure, there's always traditional, but I think I've developed some sort of weird thought process where I can't post anything online without it being digital and "perfect". On top of that, the iPad I was using Procreate on to begin with is... relatively outdated, so I've elected to start pooling resources to get a new iPad Pro. I had the luck of experimenting with one (thanks to my lovely girlfriend) and I'm much more pleased with the reaction speed and sensitivity as opposed to the prior iPad. I don't feel comfortable sharing her iPad Pro with myself, since I have this feeling that I'm monopolizing her space for whatever reason, and she has her own art and her own projects to complete without me butting in to take over with my own. With that in mind, yes, I will be posting art in the future
February 2021 Update
Ok, I had meant to do this at the start of the year, but whatever. I won't dwell on the reasoning for that. Instead of that, I'm just going to stick to the positives. First of all, yay, Happy New Year, we lived, and we came out better for it. Congratulations to everyone, and I hope you all made the best out of the year despite everything. I know I certainly attempted this year, and in all honesty, I had made better progress than I thought I could. Dad is well, as well as he can be. He's currently in Los Angeles by himself, in a very secure wing of a hospital, and unfortunately, due to Covid and the seasonal rise in illness, it's looking like the day of getting him back to my hometown will be pushed back a bit. On the positive, this gives him plenty of time to recover. Onto another positive, I am taking it upon myself to actually start doing some work around here. I'm going to not only try to commit myself to finding more platforms to share my art and other works, but I intend to

Don't you have a system on your computer where you can set adjustments to the how it should scan. That's how mines is set up.
